ジャナグルジュニア
ジャナグルとは、ショナ語で「明るい月」という意味。2006年、ジンバブエ在住のクライブ・マルンガと、小樽出身の高橋朋子が「ジャナグルアートセンター」を設立（クライブは代表に就任）。アートセンターの設立以後、子どもたちはジンバブエの伝統・現代音楽やダンスを本格的に学んでいます。今回はマーシィ・チスワ、ウェンディ・マディコ、ティチャファラ・マコンボレロ、タテンダ・タワンダが来日。天性のリズム感から繰り出されるパフォーマンス、そしてワークショップは、一流ミュージシャン顔負けのパワーで、観客を楽しませてくれます。7月から北海道・東北地方でツアーを開始。芸術祭のパフォーマンスは、ツアーの最終日にあたります。ご期待ください！
